Questions you ask us most
How can I come to Switzerland?
For people from Cambodia there are few legal ways: studying, a job for which the employer could not find anyone in Switzerland or the EU, or family. Each has strict rules. We explain our own experience in the series above.
How can I study here?
You need a confirmed place at a school, enough money for fees and living costs, and the language level your school asks for. Then you apply for a student visa. Watch part 2.
How do I find work?
A recognised profession and the local language matter most. A diploma alone is rarely enough. Watch part 4.
Can I stay after I finish school?
It depends on your school and your situation. Part 5 explains it in November.
Do you help with visas?
No. We share our own experience. Official rules: sem.admin.ch. Never pay anyone who promises you a visa.
